Our celebrated founder Chef-tender Tim has shared his passion for great food and drink for over three decades, throughout numerous countries. He is grateful towards the generous people meet along many journeys learning food and culture from the locals. From revered gastronomy artisans to gracious hosts, open markets, street food vendors and a few impromptu meals without shared language have influenced Tim's continuous culinary discovery.
Tim’s formative years cooking for some of Atlanta's best chefs, restaurant groups, and hotels, pushed him towards Washington, D.C., New York City, and Denver, before washing ashore the Hawaiian Islands for a decade at some of Maui’s finest restaurants and resorts. On Oahu, under the tutelage of a master wine sommelier Tim was encouraged to explore food and wine throughout Europe for one grape growing season. The following years as an expat in Japan afforded him opportunities to work throughout East and Southeast Asia, befriending copious culinarians along the way. Chef Tim has brought back flavors from abroad to meld with his southern roots. He is excited to bring you food and drinks featuring Florida's exquisite bounty from local farmers, fishermen, and fellow cottage industry suppliers of quality products to your table.Tim’s gratitude for kindness: World Central Kitchen
